The process of creating a data center is multi-stage. It carries the following steps:
- Creation of technical specifications and construction project. Without this stage, the whole idea of creating a data center is doomed to failure. Therefore, special attention must be paid to it. The goals, methods and means for creating this project should be worked out in detail. As a result, a site for construction is selected that meets all the necessary requirements.
- Coordination of all elements of the data center in order to create a single complex and put it into operation. In other words, this is the solution to the tasks set at the planning stage of the data center. In addition, various risks are calculated during the commissioning of the data center and ways to reduce them. The necessary documentation is being prepared related to the functioning of individual components: hardware, software, engineering systems. - The stage at which the verification of all systems passes. Server hardware is being maintained. As a result of the checks, the journal of planned activities is filled.
- The stage of structural and technical changes in the data center aimed at improving its performance. To do this, it is necessary to carry out the process of modernizing the IT infrastructure on time.
